[VT August 9, 2025 ] Trump Media and Technology Group (Nasdaq/NYSE Texas: DJT) announced that British news channel GB News has joined its Truth+ streaming platform, making its programming available to users worldwide. Truth+ supports iOS, Android, Web, as well as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku devices. GB News will be included in the platform’s free basic package.
Trump Media CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes said, “We welcome our good friends from across the pond, GB News, to the Truth+ platform. GB News is a terrific source for news, facts, and commentary. By expanding its global reach, we aim to connect an enormous new international audience to the network’s unique reporting and opinions, while providing an alternative perspective in the global media landscape.”
GB News CEO Angelos Frangopoulos emphasized the channel’s mission as a champion of free speech in Britain and its plans to expand in the U.S. and globally via Truth+. “We are bringing to the world the real story of what is happening in the United Kingdom and celebrating her heritage, values, and potential,” he said.
Headquartered in London, GB News features prominent hosts and commentators, including Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage. In just four years since its launch, GB News has grown rapidly, surpassing BBC News and Sky News in U.K. viewership in July 2025, becoming the nation’s most-watched news channel. Its website also achieved rapid growth in the U.S., and the channel plans to launch live daily programs from Washington, D.C., in September to further expand its presence in the Americas.
The collaboration marks a significant step in Truth+’s international expansion and highlights Trump Media’s strategy of integrating news, social media, and streaming services. Truth+ primarily offers family-friendly live channels and on-demand content, while Trump Media also operates Truth Social, a social media platform, and Truth.Fi, a financial technology brand.
