- Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025
- Registration deadline: Monday, Oct. 20
- Mail/absentee ballot application deadline: 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28
- Deadline to return mail ballots:8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4
- ⛔ Postmarks do not count.
- Deadline for military/overseas ballots: 11:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 (must arrive by Nov. 12)
🗳️ Voting Options
In Person
- Polls open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- If you’re in line by 8 p.m., you can still vote.
- Find your polling place: Philadelphia Polling Place Locator、pavoterservices.pa.gov
Mail Voting
- Apply online, by mail, or in person by Oct. 28 at 5 p.m.
- Return your completed ballot by 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 to:
- Your county election office, or
- An official drop box (check your county’s website for locations)
- You may not return your ballot at your polling place.
- To vote in person instead, bring your mail ballot and envelopes to be voided.
Early In-Person Voting
- You can apply for, fill out, and submit a mail ballot in one visit to your county election office before Oct. 28 at 5 p.m.

- Judges for:
- Pennsylvania Supreme Court (retention votes)
- Superior Court
- Commonwealth Court
- Common Pleas Court
- Municipal Court
- Local election officers (judge/inspector of elections)
🪪 ID Requirements
- ID only required for first-time voters or if voting at a new polling place.
- Valid voter registration card issued by the Philadelphia Voter Registration Office
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license or PennDOT ID card
- Valid ID issued by any Commonwealth agency
- This includes a Medical Marijuana Identification Card
- Valid ID issued by the U.S. Government
- Valid U.S. passport
- Valid U.S. Armed Forces ID
- Valid Student ID
- Valid Employee ID
- Non-photo ID issued by the Commonwealth, or any agency thereof
- Non-photo ID issued by the U.S. Government, or any agency thereof
- Firearm permit
- Current utility bill
- Current bank statement
- Paycheck
- Government check

- Every polling place must have an accessible voting system.
- You may bring someone to assist you (not your employer or union rep).

🆘 If You Miss a Deadline or Have an Emergency
- You can request an emergency absentee ballot after 5 p.m. on Oct. 28.
- Must return it by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
