November 12, 2024 – President-elect Donald J. Trump has announced the nomination of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as the United States Ambassador to Israel.
In a statement, Trump described Huckabee as a “highly respected” leader who has demonstrated unwavering support for Israel and its people. “Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years. He loves Israel, and the people of Israel love him,” Trump stated.
Trump expressed confidence in Huckabee’s dedication to advancing peace in the Middle East, adding that he “will work tirelessly to bring about Peace in the Middle East.”
If confirmed, Huckabee will take on a key diplomatic role representing the United States in Israel.
