President-Elect Donald Trump Nominates Mike Huckabee as U.S. Ambassador to Israel

November 12, 2024 – President-elect Donald J. Trump has announced the nomination of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as the United States Ambassador to Israel.

In a statement, Trump described Huckabee as a “highly respected” leader who has demonstrated unwavering support for Israel and its people. “Mike has been a great public servant, Governor, and Leader in Faith for many years. He loves Israel, and the people of Israel love him,” Trump stated.
