November 12, 2024 – President-elect Donald J. Trump has announced the appointment of Steven C. Witkoff as Special Envoy to the Middle East. Witkoff, a prominent leader in business and philanthropy, will serve as a key advocate for peace and stability in the region.

Steven C. Witkoff is the Chairman and CEO of Witkoff, a real estate development firm he founded in 1997. Under his leadership, Witkoff has successfully financed, repositioned, and constructed over 70 properties across the United States and abroad. He has extensive experience in real estate investment, having previously co-founded Stellar Management Company and practiced real estate law at several prestigious firms.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Witkoff has played an active role in philanthropy and public service. He currently serves as Chairman of the University of Miami Business School Real Estate Advisory Board and is a member of the Hofstra University Board of Trustees. He was also appointed by President Trump in 2019 to serve on the Board of Trustees for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
