Philadelphia, PA — On Friday, September 20, 2024, the Philadelphia County Board of Elections completed the Logic and Accuracy Testing of absentee and mail-in ballots for the upcoming General Election, set for November 5, 2024. Following successful testing, the initial printing of mail ballots has commenced.
Starting Monday, September 23, 2024, in-person mail ballot services will be available at the Philadelphia County Board of Elections Office, located in City Hall, Room 140. The office will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on weekdays, and 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on weekends.
Additionally, Satellite Election Offices across Philadelphia are now open, providing voter registration and in-person mail ballot services. These offices will operate Monday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and weekends from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Chairman Omar Sabir emphasized the importance of accessibility, saying, “Our priority is to make sure every voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot easily and securely. Your vote is your voice—make sure it’s heard.”
Commissioner Seth Bluestein praised the early availability of ballots, noting, “Our new Satellite Election Offices will make it easier than ever to get registered and receive a mail ballot before the consequential Presidential Election this November.”
Vice-Chair Lisa Deeley highlighted the significance of down-ballot races, urging citizens to vote in every race, as those elections can have a profound impact on their communities.
