Philadelphia Launches Fall Edition of “One Philly, A United City” Citywide Cleaning Initiative

[VT – Philadelphia, November 3, 2025] Mayor Cherelle Parker’s “One Philly, A United City” Cleaning Initiative is continuing its efforts citywide. The fall edition of the program runs from November 3, 2025, through January 30, 2026, covering all neighborhoods and targeting quality-of-life issues including litter, illegal dumping, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, vacant lots, and nuisance properties.

The initiative is led by the Office of Clean and Green Initiatives under the Mayor’s Office, in partnership with multiple city departments, quasi-governmental agencies, and nonprofits. To date, the program has completed over 208,872 quality-of-life services across Philadelphia.

The fall cleaning program spans 13 weeks, starting in Northeast Philadelphia and concluding in North Philadelphia. The schedule aligns with the Department of Sanitation’s fall leaf recycling program to prevent litter accumulation and clogged sewer drains caused by fallen leaves. Areas with dense tree canopies will receive additional support for leaf collection and cleaning.
