September 20, 2024 Boston, MA – Mayor Michelle Wu joined world-famous pianist Lang Lang for a piano duet at the Boston Arts Academy (BAA) today, celebrating the Lang Lang International Music Foundation’s support of Boston Public Schools (BPS). The event highlighted the foundation’s Keys for Inspiration program, which brings piano labs to several BPS schools, including BAA, Chittick, Edison, and more.
After the performance, Wu and Lang Lang participated in a Q&A session with students, discussing the importance of music education. The event precedes Wu’s upcoming performance with the Boston Symphony Orchestra on Saturday.
