[VT I Washington, D.C. December 4, 2025] According to information released by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the committee has announced the launch of “Our Power, Our Country,” a new voter engagement and communications initiative described as an eight-figure investment. The program is aimed at organizing, educating, and mobilizing Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI), Black, Latino, and rural voters, and is characterized as the earliest such investment ever made by House Democrats.
The DCCC stated that “Our Power, Our Country” will focus on competitive battleground districts, including both offensive and defensive races, with the goal of engaging key voting blocs viewed as central to efforts to secure a House majority in the midterm elections. The committee noted that this initiative also marks the first time it has established a program specifically dedicated to engaging rural voters.
According to the announcement, the investment will support expanded research activities and allow the committee to begin paid media, voter education, mail outreach, earned media, persuasion, and mobilization efforts earlier than in previous cycles. The initiative will also include the development of grassroots cohorts and the hiring of staff dedicated to on-the-ground organizing in targeted districts.
The committee further indicated that earlier this year it launched an “Engagement On the Road” tour, meeting directly with constituency voters in battleground districts. In addition, it has conducted multiple national paid media campaigns focused on reaching voters of color and rural voters, including its first advertising campaign of the current midterm election cycle.
In a statement released by the DCCC, Chair Suzan DelBene said the program reflects House Democrats’ commitment to engaging AANHPI, Black, Latino, and rural voters as early as possible. She stated that the initiative is intended to support outreach efforts on issues such as lowering costs and protecting access to affordable health care.
DCCC National Political Director Brooke Butler stated that the committee’s first advertisements of the current midterm cycle were targeted at AANHPI voters and ran in Korean-, Chinese-, and Vietnamese-language newspapers. She noted that the addition of a rural engagement program underscores an effort to broaden outreach across diverse communities.
According to additional background information provided by the DCCC, activities under “Our Power, Our Country” during this election cycle include
rapid-response national digital advertising campaigns aimed at educating voters of color and rural voters on key issues;
in-depth qualitative and quantitative research and polling; paid media designed to persuade and mobilize targeted voters through localized and multilingual messaging;
in-district organizing in collaboration with local community leaders to support voter registration and community events;
and the development of grassroots networks through partnerships with local and national organizations to facilitate voter engagement.
