Background and Education
Brandon P. Neuman was born in 1981 in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, and is a lifelong resident of Washington County. He graduated from Canon–McMillan High School in 2000, earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Richmond in 2005, and received a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law the same year. He later obtained a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2009.

In addition to academics, Neuman was active in athletics. He played football for both Canon–McMillan High School and the University of Richmond, demonstrating teamwork and leadership on and off the field.

Professional Experience
Judge Neuman has served on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas since January 1, 2018, now in his eighth year. His docket primarily includes civil cases and Veterans Specialty Court, with experience also in criminal and family law matters.

Before becoming a judge, Neuman served four terms in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 48th District from 2011 to 2017. During his legislative career, he played a key role in passing legislation to reform the processing of sexual assault evidence kits (rape kits), addressing backlogs and improving justice for victims.

He served on several legislative committees, including the Judiciary Committee, and was involved with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.

Prior to his public service, Neuman practiced as a trial attorney focusing on complex civil litigation, including cases involving the neglect or abuse of nursing home residents.
