Candidate Background
Sarah Jones resides in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband, a union electrician and former U.S. Marine Corps service member who served in Afghanistan during the Global War on Terror. Sarah received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 2013. While in law school, she participated in a study abroad program in Argentina and was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society.
Professional Background
Sarah began her legal journey in 2011 as an intern at the Law Office of Gregory J. Pagano and later joined the firm as an associate attorney. Her legal practice focuses on family law—including custody, divorce, child support, grandparents’ rights, protection from abuse, and dependency court—and criminal defense in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Sarah has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and represented hundreds of clients in both the Court of Common Pleas and federal courts. She has also been a strong mentor for law students and interns, participating in Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School’s internship program.
